The revised testing dates for grades 7-12 are as follows:

Monday 2/5/18
*7-8 grade will be re-taking this test

General Excel Knowledge Test
Monday 2/12/18

If you have any questions regarding the information that was reviewed and sent home on your study guides, please speak up now! Don't wait until the day of the test...it will be too late :(

This week has been crazy due to the weather, computer issues and school hour delays, and as such, we have not been able to get a lot accomplished in Computer Class :(

So be prepared to WORK next week...we need to play catch-up before Christmas Break. YOU GUYS CAN DO IT! Plus, we can still have fun :)

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

Enjoy your week off but remember to be thankful IN everything! God doesn't require us to be thankful FOR everything, because who could be thankful for a toothache?! But He does want us to learn to be thankful in every situation we find ourselves in...and we CAN do that! It is actually easy to do when we focus on Jesus instead of on our situation :)

So practice thankfulness this week...and everyday!

Illustrated Report Homework

Grades 4-6 have a report due by Wednesday, 11/1/17 on The Good Samaritan. I have sent home a copy of the parable and also an outline, illustrating what I am looking for in their report. The students have been working on this project for several weeks in class but now need to complete at home. This assignment was given on 10/23 and 10/25, respectively.

UPDATE: DUE TO CHRISTMAS PLAY PRACTICE, I AM ALLOWING EXTRA TIME FOR STUDENTS TO TURN IN THEIR GOOD SAMARITAN REPORTS. THE FINAL DAYS THAT I WILL ACCEPT REPORTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

MONDAY, 11/6 FOR 5TH AND 6TH GRADE
WEDNESDAY, 11/8 FOR 4TH GRADE
